1. _I_n_t_r_o_d_u_c_t_i_o_n
The Silicon Graphicsr VINO Execution Environment 6.5
supports the builtin video input (_Video _In - _No _Out)
hardware on the Indy system.
The vino.sw.eoe image must be installed for VINO to operate.
Install the software from the miniroot so that the kernel
will be properly configured for the VINO hardware.
The IRIS Digital Media Execution Environment contains a set
of video utilities for use with the VINO software. For
further information on the IRIS Digital Media Execution
Environment, see the ddddmmmmeeeeddddiiiiaaaa____eeeeooooeeee release notes.
Note: Packaged with these release notes is a separate sheet
that contains the Software License Agreement. This
software is provided to you solely under the terms
and conditions of the Software License Agreement.
Please take a few moments to review the Agreement.

1.2 _O_n_-_L_i_n_e__R_e_l_e_a_s_e__N_o_t_e_s
After you install the on-line documentation for a product
(the _r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s subsystem), you can view the release notes on
your screen.
If you have a graphics system, select ``Release Notes'' from
the Help submenu of the Toolchest. This displays the
_g_r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(1) graphical browser for the on-line release
- 2 -
notes.
Refer to the _g_r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(1) man page for information on
options to this command.
If you do not have a graphics system, you can use the
_r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s command. Refer to the _r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(1) man page for
accessing the on-line release notes.
